Company History

Encon was founded in 1969 by Colin Dawson and associates. In 1986 Encon Air Systems Limited was born and this family owned company now run by the second generation and Managing Director Stephen Dawson spans 32 years of successful operations. Since the foundation, Encon Ventilators which are designed and manufactured at our Avonmouth facility have been in use in a wide range of industrial and commercial application throughout the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. A full range of mechanical input and extract ventilators produced by ourselves are complemented with the Encon range of louvred natural extract/smoke exhaust ventilators, dust and fume extraction, air conditioning and ventilation systems. The primary concern of Encon Air Systems is the quality of its products and services as indorsed by our Quality Assurance System, ISO 9000, as certified by QAS, certificate No. A2400. In recognition of our ability to fulfil the required high level of excellence in the provision of quality Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Dust and Exhaust Extraction Systems.
