Powered Inlet Units

The glass fibre inlet cowl is suitable for mounting in any wall or roof at any angle from totally horizontal to totally vertical.

Internal components are manufactured in aluminium with pre-drilled mating flanges for easy and precise assembly on site.

A re-circulation unit can be incorporated in the internal ductwork suitable for manual or electric motor control.

In the filter section glass fibre filters are mounted in a Vee formation and we supply a lift off door to provide easy access. Synthetic or washable filters can be supplied for use in the food industry.

Heater sections are available normally manufactured of aluminium finned copper or steel tubes in single or double banks for use either with steam or hot water. Electric heaters can also be supplied.

For normal use we supply an axial fan section to the same specification as the extract systems. For more sophisticated heating/filtration systems a centrifugal fan section is supplied. This unit features a forward curved double inlet centrifugal fan with factory balanced impellor and sealed for life cartridge mounted bearings. Easily removable doors are supplied for maintenance and access. Each fan unit is fitted with a belt drive selected and designed for each individual installation.

Air is distributed into the building via distribution heads incorporating multi-vane discharge grilles each with two rows of individually adjustable blades.

These are available in 1, 2, 3 or 4 way configurations.
