Customer Profile:
Spicer Driveshaft being part of the Dana Group of Companies and are a leading original equipments manufacturer of heavy duty truck driveshafts for blue chip organisations such as Caterpillar and JCB.

Therefore manufacturers of a quality product for tough and demanding off highway plant and vehicles, etc.

Customer Requirement:
To design, supply and install a Weld Fume Extraction / Filtration System to serve 3 No. automatic production robot welding systems, with particular focus on complete fume capture, efficient and effective filtration and a low maintenance / running cost system. A purpose bulk ductwork system was therefore designed and installed with high level ductwork specifically positioned to facilitate fork truck movement, etc, all linked to 1 No. external mounted big efficiency cartridge filter system complete with reverse air pulse automatic self cleaning.

Product Selection:

• 1 X Nederman Filtermax 9000 18 cartridge high efficiency filter
• 1 X Centrifugal fan sat complete with exhaust silencer
• 1 X Purpose designed ductwork system

Completion Date:
The installation was completed and successfully handed over during September 2001.
